'Boys Over Flowers' star Kim Bum coming to Manila, Cebu for fan meetings

Kim Bum, who played the role of one of the F4 members in the 2009 hit Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers,’ will be holding his fan meetings in Manila and Cebu.  His agency, King Kong by Starship, and Viu Philippines both shared the poster for Kim Bum’s “2023 Asia Fan Meeting: Between U and Me.”   Kim Bum will hold fan meetings in Manila and Cebu (King Kong by Starship)

Based on the poster, Kim Bum will hold the fan meeting in Manila on Sept. 22 and in Cebu on Sept. 23.  The fan meeting will start in Tokyo on Aug. 25, followed by Jakarta on Sept. 3 and Bangkok on Sept. 16. The finale will be held in Seoul on Oct. 9.  Kim Bum recently starred in Prime Video’s Korean fantasy series “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” together with Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon and Ryu Kyung-soo.  During an online interview with

 and other Asian media outlets about the drama, Kim Bum said he wanted to meet fans in the Philippines and other countries.  “Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, a lot of the countries we’ve all been cut off from each other for quite a while. But thankfully from this year, things are getting a lot more easier, so I’m patiently waiting for the chance to be able to meet face to face with my fans in other countries, of course, including the Philippines,” said Kim Bum.  He added, “I’m personally very grateful for all the love and support despite the long distance that stands between us, and I look forward the day when we’ll be able to meet with the fans face to face.”
