Wanted persons in Parañaque, Las Piñas arrested in manhunt operations

Two wanted persons in Parañaque and Las Piñas were arrested in separate manhunt operations conducted by the police on Thursday, Sept. 14.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects identified as Anthony Rodriguez, 23, and Rodalyn Icayan, 31, were nabbed by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Sections (WSS) of the Parañaque and Las Piñas police.

The SPD said Rodriguez, tagged as the third most wanted person in Parañaque, was arrested at around 1:30 p.m. in SBMA  Subic Port, Subic, Zambales.

A warrant was issued against Rodriguez who was facing charges for three counts of rape, attempted rape, and acts of lasciviousness.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Moises Domingo de Castro of Parañaque Family Court Branch 10 on Aug. 10, 2023.

In  Las Piñas, members of the WSS arrested Icayan for robbery at around 4:30 p.m. at Saint Louie Village, Barangat Talon 3, Las Piñas.

Iacayan was arrested by virtue of a warrant  issued by Judge Pia Crstina Bersamin-Embuscado on Sept. 7, 2023.
