Brother International Philippines now ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified
Brother a leader in the development and manufacturing of technologies in the printing, communications, home and business IT and sewing peripherals, is now an ISO certified Company as approved by TUV Nord, the certifying body of International Organization of Standardization (ISO).
Certifications are valuable for the quality guarantees they provide. And so, ISO certification means that Brother has proven that it follows and complies with various international standards that consumer look for.
Brother’s ISO 9001-certification means the company has complied with an international quality management standard specification.
And, its ISO 14001-certification means the company is operating in an environmentally sustainable manner.
After six months, Brother International Philippines has earned their ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 Certification.
The application, audit and approval were led by Brother International Philippines president, Toshiaki Isayama and deputy general manager for finance and admin, Grace Vizconde.
“Everyone at Brother had contributions to achieve this (certification), now the team work paid off and our customers will be the first to benefit from this” said Vizconde.
Brother’s ISO certification is a testament by itself to show their commitment not just with its employees and suppliers, but more importantly with its customers.
“We have always made the quality of our products and meeting customer expectation a priority, we welcomed the opportunity that the ISO certification presented to benchmark our processes versus known industry practice. This allowed us to improve and upgrade aspects of our company in all aspects of customer handling,” said general manager, Glenn Hocson.
“Continuously we go all-out to improve not only the product offering, but also the entire customer experience.
Hocson added that "earning the ISO certification assures our customers of the commitment we have to serving them well. And so is our commitment to promote effective and efficient environmental management.”
