‘That’s Entertainment’ star dies

Former “That’s Entertainment” star Marco Polo Garcia passed away on March 5 due to cirrhosis, a chronic liver disease.

Marco Polo is the son of veteran actress Lucita Soriano and Boy Garcia. His body currently lies in state at the Funenaria Paz in Araneta, Quezon City. He will be buried at the Garden of Memories in Pateros on Wednesday, March 10.

Redford White has cancer?

Comedian Redford White chose not to comment on tabloid rumors that he has been reportedly diagnosed with cancer.

Write-ups said that Redford has long been confined at the St. Luke’s Medical Center to recover from his illness.

His manager, Simon, sent a text message to “The Buzz” belying such rumor, saying he is in “very good shape.”

Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis has also reportedly written in her column a recent sighting of the former comedian eating at a pizza parlor at The Fort in Taguig, “malakas at walang sakit.”
