San Mig Coffee scored a 73-71 win over B-MEG Integra Manila in the Nokia National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) D-League recently at the San Juan gym.

Patrick Vergara and Martin Pascual had 19 and 15, respectively, while John Boo had 9 as San Mig Coffee improved its record to 6-2 in the under-18 tournament backed by Nokia Philippines and TAO Corporation under the Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas.

Youth For Change-QC beat Health Solutions Las Pinas, 82-79, for a 4-1 record while dropping their victims to a 4-3 card in the tournament also supported by the Smart Communications, San Miguel Purefoods Company and Burlington.

Nilo Cares Antipolo bested Burlington Makati, 89-83, for a second win in six games as Kier Sy had 27 points while Roland Galang fired 15.

Smart Manila still leads NCR with a 6-0 record followed by San Mig Coffee (6-2), Youth For Change (4-1) B-Meg Manila (4-3), Health Solutions (4-3), Xavier San Juan (3-1), Nilo Cares (2-4), Magnolia Chocolait Paranaque (1-6), Burlington Makati (0-6), and Smart Caloocan (0-4).
