Young star Maja Salvador is not keen on going all out in doing sexy photos and sexy scenes.

Maja said she has decided to take it slow after showing a bit of skin on “Nagsimula sa Puso.”

“Pa-unti-unti kasi ‘di ba sa ‘Nagsimula sa Puso,’ may mga pictorials din doon, may magazine, sexy din. Eto parang ganoon din,” she explained about her sexy photoshoot for “Impostor,” a new soap that pairs her for the first time with rumored lover Sam Milby.

For Maja, there’s nothing to be ashamed about in going sexy, if it is done in good taste.

"Alam ko naman na hindi malaswa ang ginagawa ko,” she explained.

How does she motivate herself for such photoshoots?

“Iniisip ko na sexy ako. Ganu’n lang,” she said with a smile.

For her “Impostor” photoshoot, the young actress revealed that the production team tried to avoid duplicating earlier photos for “Nagsimula sa Puso.”

“Para dito sa ‘Impostor,’ ibang Maja naman ang makita; ayun, nag-decide sila na pagpa-cut ng hair, ibang color. Ganyan.”

The show also marks the acting debut of the popular comic tandem Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco of the “Pinoy Big Brother Double Up” fame.

Last year, Maja’s name was dragged into the controversial break-up of Anne Curtis and Sam Milby. Rumors had it that Maja and Sam were dating then.

While both had admitted having gone out a few times, these were supposedly in the company of mutual friends. Both disputed they were already item, although Sam confessed having a "big crush" on Maja.

Anne's reply was quite in-your-face when asked if she is jealous or furious about rumors pertaining to Sam and Maja's burgeoning romance: “Walang-wala!”
