Curious about Nancy Castiglione

TV host-actress Nancy Castiglione’s comeback bid following an eight-month sabbatical from show business fueled a lot of curious questions from the press during the recent PLDT myDSL event for its Beyond Broadband campaign.
Nancy, who looks prettier than ever, if not a dead ringer for Dawn Zulueta, did not deny she had undergone rhinoplasty.
“I think it’s obvious naman, and I don’t see anything wrong in my doing so. Besides, I gave birth to two kids so talagang maiiba ang hitsura ko. Minsan ngarag, madalas blooming pero laging happy,” said she who also goes by the name "Nancy Jane" in the music scene.
People were also curious if she and her ex-boyfriend Paolo Contis have reconnected. It is recalled that Paolo hit the headlines recently after his girlfriend Lian Paz, bore him a child, Xonia Aitana.
On the other hand, Nancy herself got married in Canada [to non-showbiz Ignacio Dominguez] and had twins, Joaquin and Matteo.
“Paolo and I are not in contact but we’re not enemies. If we get to talk again, I will be very open even in answering questions about parenting.
“I’m very happy for Paolo. Nakakatawa siyang tao, mabait, maalaga—he’ll be a very good father and provider. I know he’s very happy right now and I only have best wishes for him,” Nancy said.
Paolo is assured of good advice from Nancy should they get to talk about raising children. According to Nancy, she and Ignacio practice shared parenting. She revealed that she is in charge of the twins during weekdays while Ignacio takes over during the weekends when she works.
“I’m happy now with my life. I’m happy with my family. That’s always my dream, to have a happy family,” said she.
Nancy is raring to be more visible in showbiz again. She recently co-hosted the “StarStruck V” Final Judgment with Dingdong Dantes, Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo and Raymond Gutierrez at the Araneta Coliseum. She is open to the idea of working on teleseryes like in her “Encantadia” days.
“But like I said, family is my priority. With that I'm really, really happy. All the extras, like ‘yung mga shows, ‘yung mga work, are like bonus na lang," she said.
During the PLDT event, Nancy talked about the Beyond Broadband campaign.
She said that every myDSL plan comes not only with Unlimited broadband and landline, but also Watchpad—the first entertainment portal in the country to give exclusive shows, movies and more to its subscribers for free. This includes 18 channels such as CNN, Cartoon Network, Channel [V], National Geographic, E! Entertainment, Splash and myView.
Furthermore, the live streaming of such events as the Speed Circuit car drifting, the URCC championship on March 27, and the upcoming Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey match on March 14 are in the offing.
According to a PLDT press release, the Beyond Broadband campaign is a true entertainment journey on the Internet where you encounter the sneezing panda, LOL cats, plus local and Hollywood celebrities led by fresh talent Ton Vergel de Dios, a musician.
PLDT myDSL has also launched its search for the next Watchpad crew members to join the likes of Rhian Ramos, Isabel Oli, drift champ Alex perez, among others. The new members will each get a new laptop, free myDSL subscription and a hundred thousand pesos.
