Taguig LGU locks Makati personnel inside Makati Park and Garden amid jurisdiction rift
Personnel of the Taguig City government on Sunday, March 3, reportedly locked the gates of Makati Park and Garden while there were still Makati employees inside.
It also served a closure order on Makati Park for not having a business permit.

According to the Makati city government, Taguig's Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) personnel began massing up in front of the park and started to lock its gate.
“Walang puwang ang ganitong asal sa ating makabagong lipunan (This behavior has no place in our modern society). The Taguig authorities should be censured by the concerned national agencies,” It said.
“For our part, Makati will take all necessary steps to protect and preserve our property,” it added.
On Friday, March 1, members of the Taguig Traffic Management Office (TMO) reportedly tried to "forcibly" enter the park.
However, the park's security guards and personnel of the Makati Public Safety Department (PSD) barred them.
