About 480 Grade 4 pupils in the Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela (Camanava) area received Monday their “diploma” from the Northern Police District (NPD) during the graduation rites of the first recipients of the NPD “Pulis Ko Titser Ko” Program at the Malabon Amphitheater in Malabon
City.

The NPD launched its “Pulis Ko Titser Ko” program last Sept. 19 in eight schools in Camanava area to teach school children subjects that will help them become responsible, productive and law-abiding citizens when they grow up, Supt. Ferdie del Rosario, of the NPD Police Community Relations Division (PCRD), said.

The successful six month-long program was made possible through the joint efforts of the Department of Education (DepEd) local school division in Camanava area and the NPD Police Community Relations Division, Del Rosario said.

A curriculum formulated by both the DepEd and the NPD was patterned to fit the standard for Grade 4 pupils in teaching lessons on love of God, nationalism, respect for and obedience to laws and law enforcers, and similar social norms, and Filipino customs and traditions.
