Kris to Noynoy: I’m not going to disappoint you anymore

March 16, 2010, 3:31pm

Kris Aquino once again allowed her emotions to take over when she cried on “The Buzz” while addressing the issue with Ruffa Gutierrez and the effects it caused since two Sundays ago.

Kris told co-host Boy Abunda that she considered quitting “The Buzz.” “On my way here, kausap ko ‘yung tatlo kong kapatid [Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Pinky Aquino-Abellada and Viel Aquino-Dee] and I was saying, ‘think I want to say goodbye.’ A person can only take so much pero masakit na. Everyday I try to be the daughter that my mom deserves.”

It will be recalled that Kris offended Ruffa on “The Buzz” last March 7 prompting the latter to leave the show and Annabelle Rama to call Kris self-important and in the process dragging her brother presidentiable Noynoy Aquino into the issue. And I said this election parang lahat ng kagalit ni Noy, kung merong kailangang pintasan, ako parati.

She promised Noynoy, “I’m not going to disappoint you anymore and I’m not going to give them reasons to criticize you.”

She added, “It’s a lesson. You just have to be so careful with everything that escapes your mouth. And you just have to learn that all eyes are on you so try your best to stay strong,” Kris said.

Ogie is now GMA creative consultant

Ogie Alcasid did not only decide to stay with GMA-7 after having been offered to move to TV5, he is also doing extra work off-camera as one of the network’s creative consultants for the Sunday noontime show “Party Pilipinas,” which replaces “SOP” on March 28.

According to friend and another “Party Pilipinas” mainstay Janno Gibbs, he and Ogie are very excited with what’s about to happen to Sunday noontime TV.

Melai wants to be a Belo endorser

PBB Big Winner Melisa “Melai” Cantiveros is shocked but at the same time enjoying her fame that is beginning to reach Filipinos worldwide mainly because of The Filipino Channel (TFC). In a recent interview at the Kapamilya Karavan show held in Baguio City, she related her experiences to Juicy Corner after her PBB stint.

Nag-smile naman ako kasi baka char char lang sila but over over happy ako.

And now that she is undeniably famous, will she seek the help from doctors to celebrities like Vicky Belo or Manny Calayan?

Though Melai, in past interviews, dismissed speculations she will go aesthetic procedures.
