In anticipation for the World Cup, Cartoon Network has launched an exciting online football gaming website March 15 via www.toonfootball.com. This new online game allows players to go on exciting soccer matches with their favorite Cartoon Network heroes.

Go straight into Cartoon Network’s virtual stadium by allowing players to create your own online profiles and personalize their own avatars. Choose between different hair styles, skin color, eyes and even customize their own football outfits. Then get together with friends and family and create a team of four to register as a football team. Players can choose from a selection of all-star Cartoon Network footballers: Chowder, Dexter, Four Arms and many more. On the Toon Football website, players can take to the field to challenge other teams or play exclusive tournaments. Would-be footballers can also take part in fun mini games that allow them to practice dribbling, juggling and striking. Players can join as many tournaments as possible to earn points, train up, unlock new characters and purchase special items.

Register your team to participate in Toon Cup 2010 in May. Cartoon Network challenges players and their teams to garner the highest points by playing against other teams throughout the qualifying rounds taking place in April. The winning team willl represent the Philippines against other teams from around the Asia Pacific in the Toon Cup 2010 Finals in May.
