Business owners and other taxpayers in Caloocan City were urged Thursday by the city government to pay their taxes early to avoid the deadline rush common at the end of tax-paying days in the locality.
Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri said that business owners and proprietors should be aware that the deadline falls on April 15, 2010, urging them to settle their obligations at the city hall before the deadline.
He reminded them that taxes collected are the lifeblood of the local government used in funding vital projects such as the building of schools, repair of roads and other infrastructure programs.
