Sarah Geronimo is amazed at how Judy Ann Santos treats people on the set.

Although Pop Star Sarah Geronimo knew about Judy Ann Santos’ pregnancy way before the public did, she kept mum about it out of respect for her “Hating Kapatid” co-star.

“Ano pa, hindi pa nako-confirm noon [pero alam na namin]. Siyempre, quiet lang lahat. ‘Yon din ang gusto niya, walang lumabas. Nirerespeto ng lahat ‘yon,” Sarah said in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” March 17.

Sarah disclosed that with Juday’s delicate condition, the people in the “Hating Kapatid” production have been extra careful in attending to the latter’s needs.

“Parang ayaw na siyang pagalawin,” said Sarah, who agrees that Juday should take a rest if it would mean a smooth pregnancy for her.

Their first acting assignment together, Sarah knows first-hand how Juday treats people on the set.

“With Miss Judy Ann, para lang kaming naglalaro sa set. Kay Ate Juday nga ako nagulat. Iba ‘yong kindness niya sa co-stars niya especially to her fans. Kasi nakita ko noong dumadalaw 'yong mga fans niya, talagang asikasung-asikaso niya. Kami, ‘pagka may pagkain, hinahandaan niya talaga kami,” Sarah said. 

Judy Ann’s pregnancy was subject to much speculation until her husband Ryan Agoncillo confirmed it last March 12 on “Eat Bulaga.” Ryan even held up an ultrasound photo of the baby during his announcement.

Juday, who was then interviewed via phone-patch, said she’s not as concerned about the gender of the baby as she is about having a safe delivery.

Juday and Ryan tied the knot in San Juan, Batangas, on April 28, 2009. It was a well-kept secret that the couple’s friends and close relatives kept to themselves until the wedding day.
