Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez refuted reports that she criticized, via a Twitter account, Journey frontman Arnel Pineda’s controversial performance of the National Anthem at the recently concluded Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey fight.

The Songbird clarified that to begin with, she doesn’t have an account in the popular social microblogging site.

“Of course I didn’t say anything like that. I just wanna clear things out na hindi po ako ‘yung nasa Twitter. I never said and I would never ever say anything bad about my peers.”

The said imposter has the username @reg_velasquez.

“Dun sa nagpe-pretend na ako, alam mo okay lang to keep the account, pero sana ‘wag ka nang mag-pretend na ako ‘yun,” Regine said.

As of this writing, the said account does not exist anymore.
