Charice thrilled over ‘pop princess’ title

International singing sensation Charice says she’s thrilled over the “pop princess” title that a New York Post article bestowed upon her.

“Siyempre po super happy po ako. Napakalaking karangalan po for me,” said Charice in a phone interview on “Entertainment Live.”

Charice’s second US single “Pyramid” was listed among the PopWrap’s “Fave Five” alongside pop singer Lady Gaga’s new song, “Telephone,” which features another famous artist, Beyoncé.

“Nagulat po ako. To think na New York Post po ‘yun and top five lang po siya tapos nasama po ako,” the YouTube sensation shared.

Charice has just finished her interview on KIIS FM, a Los Angeles-based radio station. Her single, featuring Iyaz, has just also been added in the station’s playlist.

Did Anne get carried away in her scene with Sam?

Anne Curtis reportedly uttered some lines that are not included in the script while shooting a scene for her first movie with ex-flame Sam Milby, “Babe, I Love You.”

The line goes: “Thank you for loving me. Thank you for always understanding me, maski minsan matigas ang ulo ko. You were there for me.”

The lovely actress confirmed the report, saying that it was their director Mae Czarina Cruz’s instruction to make their scene more effective.

“Si Direk Mae gusto niya kasi talaga genuine ‘yung feelings namin sa eksena namin para mas dama. Tapos instead of calling him Nico, sabihin ko Sam. Then thank him for the things that he’s done for me,” she related.

Their cat-and-dog themed film is set to hit theaters in April.
