Hollywood Shorts: Timberlake to perform at least eight songs in Manila show
Justin Timberlake’s performance in the coming “Changing Lives Benefit Concert” featuring the Shock Value II artists will not be a cameo. Contrary to rumors, Timberlake is scheduled to perform at least eight songs in the concert alongside Shock Value II artists, Timbaland, and Jojo.
Jun Lorenz Mamangon (the founder and CEO of N91LIVE) clarified, “Stop the disbelief now. Johnny Wright, the manager of Justin Timberlake, has signed an agreement with my firm, N91Live, and confirmed that Justin Timberlake will show up, and perform at the event. In fact, Justin is very much excited about going to Manila.”
Francis Lumen, President of the All Youth Channels – U92, added “What we will see on March 27 (at the SM Mall of Asia) is something special from all three international artists, Timbaland, Jojo, and Timberlake. Justin alone is preparing to perform eight to nine songs, most of which with the master-producer behind the Shock Value II album, Timbaland. There are numbers that Timberlake and Timbaland have created specially for this project. I’m really thrilled to bring these great artists on one stage.” (Photo from N91Live)
Demi Moore’s Twitter stops possible suicide
Demi Moore’s Twitter exchange with a suicidal 18-year-old may have helped save his life this morning... but she’s not the only actress who stepped up to help the guy out.
Turns out Nia Vardalos from “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” called a suicide prevention center in Los Angeles after seeing Demi’s grim exchange with the guy – who was threatening to hang himself in a tree outside of his Florida home.
TMZ has obtained the phone call made between the suicide prevention center and Florida authorities during which Nia is patched in and tells cops everything she knows about the guy from the information on his Twitter account.
Cops were actually able to locate the guy using Nia’s info – and according to the police report, the guy was “sitting at his computer desk crying” when they found him.
Cops say the guy – who admitted to needing medical help – was placed under protective custody. (TMZ)
Tim Burton plans ‘Addams Family’ in 3-D
Tim Burton is planning to put his gothic spin on a new animated 3-D version of “The Addams Family,” according to a UK report.
The kooky director has wowed audiences with his 3-D version of Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice In Wonderland,” which has pulled in $208.6 million during its two-week run at the box-office.
And Burton is hoping the groundbreaking movie technique will resurrect the spooky Addams Family, who last appeared on the big screen in 1993’s “Addams Family Values.”
According to Deadline.com, Illumination Entertainment has acquired the rights to the original cartoons by Charles Addams, and the company’s boss Chris Meledandri will act as producer.
Burton has enjoyed huge success with his previous animated features, which include “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Corpse Bride.” (Starpulse.com)
