The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Monday announced that 15 out of 25 examinees passed the Landscape Architect  Licensure Examination given by the Board of Landscape Architecture in Manila this March 2010.

The PRC also announced that 40 examinees passed the Professional Electronics Engineer Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila this March 2010.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for landscape architects will be from April 5 to April 16, 2010.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), two passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), one 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful landscape arcitect examinees in in March as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on May 1, 2010 at 1 p.m at the Bahay Kalinaw, U.P. Diliman, Quezon City.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects, Inc. (PALA) will start on Monday, April 5, 2010.

The Board of Landscape Architecture who gave the licensure examination is composed of Carlito B. Pesons, chairman; and Cecilia H. Tence and Cynthia M. Sundiang, members.

The Board of Electronics Engineering is composed of Engr. Sylvia Icasiano-Marcelo, chairman; and Engr. Nestor C. Dacanay and Engr. Joel B. Bajador, members.
