Caloocan City's COVID-19 active cases have already breached the 1,000-mark.
The city recorded a total of 1,068 active cases on Monday, Jan. 10, which is 364 cases higher than the 704 listed on Jan. 7.
The report, which was released by the city's Health Department (CHD) and Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), also showed that 117 new cases were documented on Jan. 10.
Among the 188 baranggays in the city, Brgy.176 has the highest number of active cases with 42, followed by Brgy. 12 with 38.
Meanwhile, there were no active cases recorded in barangays 5, 6, 13, 17, 44, 46, 50, 54, 62, 72, 76, 86, 89, 91, 95, 99, 100, 104, 106, 107, 110, 112, 114, 127, 128, 135, and 159.
As of Jan. 10, the city logged 63,906 COVID-19 cases,1,646 deaths, and 61,192 recoveries.
City officials urged residents to strictly observe the minimum health protocols to protect them from the virus.
