The popular perception is that Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo has become very rich, what with her rumored P25-million endorsement fee (plus house and lot) from Sen. Manny Villar, and another P20-million from Sen. Loren Legarda.

But, during a recent press conference Sarah did not confirm or deny the rumors, saying only that she doesn’t know or concern herself about the financial aspect of her career. And that with Sen. Legarda, it’s just that they share the same passion for some advocacies, aside from being both endorsers of a popular brand of shampoo and toothpaste, so their relationship doesn’t border on financial or political reasons, both of them said.

With her wholesome image, Sarah would definitely be a big help for the senator to advance her advocacies to promote the rights of women, among others. The senator and Sarah also share the same concern for the environment.

Is Luis Sarah’s latest ardent suitor?

It’s been rumored that among Sarah’s ardent suitors these days is Luis Manzano, who is also reported to be exerting great effort in wooing back former girlfriend Angel Locsin. So what’s the real score?

When we chanced upon Luis in Boracay during ABS-CBN’s outdoor screening and beach party for “Kimmy-Dora,” Luis clarified the issue while admitting that he indeed is courting back Angel.

“With me and Angel, so far so good. We are now communicating and this is a good sign… magkaibigan naman kami…”

One time he and Angel and some friends are having dinner, Luis said his mother, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos and Angel talked over the phone. “There was a ‘punch line’ I uttered that required me to give the phone to Angel so she could talk to my mom,” he said.

Another guy being linked to Sarah is Rayver Cruz who’s reported to be the singer-actress’ crush ever since. But Sarah said “friends lang kami ni Rayver and I think it’s not the time yet for us to go into a serious relationship.’’

Eugene Domingo takes a serious role this time

Having played several roles as a comedian – and quite successfully – Eugene Domingo takes a serious role in “First Time.” She plays the role of a guidance counselor for the St. Claire high students, among whom are played by Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio and Jake Vargas, the youngest love triangle in tinseltown.

Eugene portrays the role of Barbarella Buncalan Jackson, affecting greatly the way Cyndi (Barbie), Lukas (Joshua), Baste (Jake) and the rest of the students handle their qualms and fears as students.

The three leading stars, Barbie, Joshua and Jake, are one in saying that they are enjoying the show, and they could hardly believe that the fruits of their labor are so fantastic.

“First Time” airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad.
