New hospital inaugurated in Lanao Norte
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – With the aim of delivering quality and accessible healthcare services to its constituents, the provincial government of Lanao del Norte inaugurated its newly-built provincial hospital early this week, it was learned Thursday.
The new hospital situated in Balo-i town is equipped with medical and surgical equipment, surgery and emergency rooms, doctors and nurses dormitory and other needs of the patients.
It will cater to the medical needs of all residents of Balo-i town neighboring towns such as Tagoloan, Matungao and Pantao Ragat of that same province.
“People in all walks of life should be served in this hospital and shall be treated with a smile,” said former Lanao del Norte Gov. Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo in her message during the opening program on Tuesday.
The new hospital was made possible by Gov. Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo who earlier vowed to improve the quality of health services in the province.
