Valenzuela City starts clean-up

By Joseph Almer Pedrajas Several workers in Valenzuela City started to take down all campaign materials in public places, a day after the mid-term elections. Zyan Caiña, chief public information officer, said that the immediate clean-up is being done as per the instruction of the newly proclaimed third-termer Mayor Rex Gatchalian. “Actually, two weeks before the election, he already reminded us ,” he told the Manila Bulletin. They do this as they are committed to promoting cleaner greener spaces in the city, Caiña added. He said that the removal of all campaign materials in Valenzuela is expected to be finished on Friday.
