Your two printing solutions: Epson PictureMate PM235 and PM310

Digital cameras have made picture taking a breeze. Literally, one is flooded with thousands of images. But where do these images end up?

A fraction would probably end up in social networking sites, another fraction to your mobile gadgets and maybe a few printed for your tabletop frames. But a big bulk would probably sit in your hard drive, unedited and sleeping in your hard disk.

Now Epson has come up with two solutions that makes printing pictures also a breeze, and with several added features to booth.

Epson’s PictureMate PM235 and PM310 are both designed for the consumer market that wants prints in an instant.

Love taking pictures on the go? The PM235 now also allows you to do that. The PM235 is your traveling photo lab, which allows you to print up to 4R sizes (4x6).

Measuring a mere 9x6 inches and weighing 2.2 kilograms, the PM235 is no bigger than your average lunch box. And with its optional battery pack you can just about carry it anywhere like your happy meal.

Using PictBridge technology, you can connect your digital camera directly or use the built-in memory card slots or the USB connection. There is even an optional Bluetooth adaptor that lets you transfer photos wirelessly from your celphone or laptop.

But you can customize photo sizes even without using a PC just by using the 2.5” LCD screen. Simply view the images on the tiltable screen, then select and print.

The PictureMate PM310, on the other hand is your perfect home accessory. With its 7-inch wide screen LCD, the PM310 doubles up as an electronic display. With pre-installed display formats, you can organize and create photo slide shows effortlessly, and even pause to print a chosen shot.

What’s more The PictureMate PM310 can be controlled almost completely through the stylish remote control. Control the slide show, select images, print photos and more.

But don’t let the sizes of both the PictureMate PM310 and PM235 fool you.

With print resolution of 5760dpi and Variable Sized Droplet Technology coming together, you get professional lab quality instantly. What’s more, with EPSON original inks, you get photos that are smudge, water and fade-resistant for up to 200 years, that’s in accordance with Epson’s test conditions printed on Epson Premium Photo Paper.
