Sharon professes love for Jinggoy

At the recent presscon tendered by Mother Lily for Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, megastar Sharon Cuneta surprised everyone with her presence. She came from Laguna and she just had to be there to show support to her “best friend forever” and “kumpare.” When asked to say something about the senatorial re-electionist, Sharon said “I have a lot to say about him, but I have my limitations... but I love him, he’s my best friend forever.’’
Jinggoy of course was very happy and flattered that Sharon found time to come to his presscon. “I was a big fan of hers, in fact gusto ko siyang ligawan noon pero napakalakas ang appeal ng karibal ko (si Gabby Concepcion) kaya umatras na lang ako,” he revealed and Sharon just laughed it off, adding that they’ve been friends since she was 13. Jinggoy added that he’s happy Sharon got herself a senator (Kiko Pangilinan) too “who I always consult in anything because he is a lawyer. I’m happy that I also got a wife (Precy Ejercito) who is as pretty as Mareng Shawee and who has a good voice too.”
In her speech, Mother Lily recalled that Jinggoy became the youngest vice mayor in the country at age 25, and the youngest mayor too (he was 29 when he became mayor of San Juan) where he served for three terms. “I knew Senator Jinggoy as a man of few words, a man of substance.’’
He could have joined showbiz early on but his father wanted him to finish college first. Jinggoy finished his education (elementary and high school at Ateneo de Manila and AB Economics at UP-Diliman).
Mother Lily added: “The children of Erap and Dra. Loi were brought up the right way.
Jinggoy and his siblings, Jackie and Jude, were never spoiled. He is also a responsible father. Married for 21 years now to Precy, they have four children – Janella Marie, Joseph Luis Manuel or Jolo, Julian Eimilio and Julienne Marie.”
Jinggoy promised that he will do a movie for Mother Lily’s outfit – for free! – as long as it won’t conflict with his schedule as senator.

Mocha Girls still intact says manager
It is not exactly true that the country’s most sought-after sing-and-dance quartet Mocha Girls has disbanded after its recent and successful series of shows in Guam, USA. Except for two members who wanted out of the group, manager Lord Byron Cristobal said that Mocha Girls and the equally competent replacements will continue to delight followers with their classy, girly acts.
“The concept of Mocha Girls as a group is one of ensemble performance. It has no solo performer and members are replaceable. Mocha Uson just happens to look like she is the frontliner because she is a TV and a film star (female lead in the film ‘Sumpa’) in her own right,” said Cristobal.
The classy acts however of Mocha Girls can go on with or with out Mocha who was recently signed up for TV5’s Sunday musical show “P.O.5.”
