Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) set an exciting course for continued growth in the Philippines at the annual Samsung AV Roadshow -- unveiling its breakthrough line up of Full HD 3D solutions that will be available to the Philippine market later this month. The company also showcased innovative new offerings in the areas of digital imaging and audio-visual technology.

Samsung’s new LED TV line-up - the C7000, C8000 and C9000 LED TVs - possess Samsung’s unique built-in 3D processor and emitter that enables compatibility with multiple 3D standards. Samsung televisions and Blu-ray players will feature Internet@TV, which provides access to the world’s first HDTV-based application store, Samsung Apps. Applications are available from leading brands such as YouTube, Twitter and Gameloft.

Samsung is offering Full HD 3D content on a number of fronts. This will be available primarily from Samsung’s exclusive partnership with Dreamworks, as announced earlier this year. To get customers started, the 2009 blockbuster “Monsters vs. Aliens” in 3D will be exclusively bundled with all Samsung Full HD 3D televisions.

NX10 is an innovative digital camera that provides users with optimum image quality in a sleek, compact body. Delivering creativity without compromise, users can now be creative as they want on the move, without having to compromise perfect images. The NX10 integrates an APS-C size CMOS sensor with mirror-less interchangeable lens, successfully capturing the heart of a DSLR and embedding it inside the compact frame of a digital camera. This allows for a sleek, lightweight camera that anyone, from pros to casual users, can effortlessly take with them anywhere they go.

The NX10 also incorporates a fast and decisive auto focus (AF), 14.6 MP APS-C size CMOS sensor and a unique, large 3.0” AMOLED screen, allowing users to conveniently view their images, even under bright sunlight. For consumers who are looking for specific qualities from their shots, or demanding differing levels of artistry from their composition, be it through varying focal points or depths of field, Samsung has released three interchangeable lenses for the NX10.

These are the Tele Zoom Lens (50-200 mm OIS), Standard Zoom Lens (18 – 55 OIS) and the Fixed Focus Lens (30 mm). These lenses feature intuitive technology, and are optimized for picture taking for discerning professional standards, and are ensured to be the ultimate in high performance.

The new Samsung 2View PL151 and PL101 feature a 1.5 inch color LCD screen located at the front of the camera. This 1.5 inch display gives users the ability to perfect their self-portraits or to join their friends and family in the shot.

New for the Samsung 2View PL151 and PL101, consumers can now use the 1.5-inch front LCD to frame video capturing in addition to digital stills. With the PL150, consumers can enjoy 720p HD video recording at a rate of 30 frames-per-second (fps).

An optional HDMI adapter is also available for the PL151, so that consumers can enjoy their HD video, as well as digital still images, through a HDTV or HD monitor.

The new 2View cameras also allow users to have more fun with the dual LCD screens thanks to the addition of the Couple Shot, the Jump Shot (PL151) feature and the updated Children Mode with music.
