Ai Ai delas Alas: ‘I do not like feng shui’
Ai Ai delas Alas, dubbed as the country’s Comedy Concert Queen, does not like feng shui.
“When they (the feng shui experts) come to your house, they re-arrange everything, they pull this furniture or that and even change several colors of your house,” Ai Ai said. “I do not like it!”
Ai Ai one time had her Third Eye opened. “I saw many things of the spirit world,” she revealed. “It came to a point that I became disturbed and afraid. I would experience sleepless nights.”
Now, Ai Ai had her Third Eye closed. “I am now free of the spirit world,” she revealed.
But there’s one thing she cannot escape from: The loneliness of taking her meals alone at home sometimes. She has three children, but when they are out in school and Ai Ai is left alone at home, she feels the jolt of being lonely especially before a meal.
She does not also feel like having another man in her life. No, not yet, or again.
About halfway of 2010, Ai Ai has so much to be proud of already. She is one of the judges, together with Mr. Freddie Garcia and Ms. Kris Aquino in ABS-CBN’s talent reality TV show “Pilipinas Got Talent.” She is also anticipating her first team-up with Aga Muhlach in a romantic-comedy television series which will be directed by Jeffrey Jeturian.
Other projects waiting for Ai Ai are: A movie slated for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, a new soap opera scheduled for the last quarter of 2010, and her 20th anniversary concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Nov. 19.

Mae dela Cerna joins Mocha Girls
The latest to join the most sought-after sing-and-dance group Mocha Girls is Mae De La Cerna, former member of EB (Eat Bulaga) Babes. She is now named Mocha Girls Mae.
Mae used to be regarded as the “baby” of EB Babes because of her youthful appearance, small face and round doe-eyes. Said to be the more serious member of the group, Mocha Girls Mae is versatility personified.
Mae opted not to renew her contract with EB Babes so she could focus on her Internet café business named “Maesure” and also to resume her college studies even on part-time basis only. The offer of Mocha Girl’s manager Lord Byron Cristobal for her to join the group was however hard to resist. Mae said, “I took the challenge to join Mocha Girls because the opportunity will provide me ample legroom and individuality on a different level as a live performing artist.”
For now, Mocha Girls Mae along with another new member Mocha Girls Jhane, a multi-talented singer-guitarist, is having hectic rehearsals with “Sexy Dance Queen” member Mocha Uson who will always be part of the ensemble despite her Sunday regular segment Hot Five in “Linggo Sa POV” of TV 5.
Mocha is all praises for the new members of Mocha Girls. By the way, they will showcase their 3rd dance album in a grand appearance at Araneta Coliseum on the occasion of UNO’s anniversary celebration. Their regular gigs are at Hardrock Café, Makati City (Monday and Thursday), Mugen Bar, Pasig City (Tuesday), and Bluewave, Macapagal Ave., Pasay City (Wednesday).
