Dennis Trillo has a new girl

Award-winning actor Dennis Trillo has had many women in his life (among them Carlene Aguilar, mother of his son; and the controversial Cristine Reyes), and now he has Jennylyn Mercado as his current girlfriend.
But the actor has a new woman, who is equally beauteous as the girls mentioned above – Carla Abellana. Dennis and Carla are the lead stars in the first episode of GMA-7’s new drama anthology “Love Bug.” The episode entitled “The Last Romance” starts airing today after “Party Pilipinas.”
“The Last Romance” was shot in the scenic island of Hong Kong onboard Star Cruises Aquarius (where the recent press conference for the series was also held), and Hong Kong Disneyland. Both Dennis and Carla said they had a wonderful time shooting the four-week series. “Nag-enjoy kami ng husto. Doon sa HK Disneyland, parang bata kami ulit.”
One of Dennis’ past movies “Italy” was also shot onboard a luxury cruise ship, but he said “mas mahaba ang cruise naman sa ‘Italy.’”
Because they couldn’t bring their personal assistants, Carla said “we had to do our own make-ups and everything. Tulungan kami. It was really a challenge because it took us away from our comfort zones. Kami-kami lang, but we’re proud to say, nagawa naming maganda ang series na ito.”
He also said “masuwerte ako because GMA-7 is always giving me good projects and good actresses to work with. Si Carla, nahasa na siya, she’s really proving that she’s a good actress.”
Carla, on the other hand, said “mahusay na actor si Dennis. This is our first team-up and we really enjoyed working together.”
In “The Last Romance,” Carla plays Rackie, a cancer survivor but the tumor returns and is now battling the same illness that changed her life. She has only three months to live. Against her family’s will, Rackie embarks on a vacation in Hong Kong. In the cruise, she meets Hero (Dennis), a tour and events organizer, who is set to marry his longtime girlfriend Remy (Iwa Moto).
Also in the cast are Rey PJ Abellana, Pinky Marquez, Pinky Amador, Paolo Paraiso, Mike Tan, Renz Valerio and Dan Cruz. The episode is directed by Mark Reyes. Denoy Navarro-Punio is head writer, while Jun Lana is creative director.

Anne paired with Sam as endorser
With the box-office success of “Babe I Love You” (it raked in P12 million on opening day) Anne Curtis has every reason to continue her “affair” with Sam Milby. The two are again paired together, but this time as endorsers of Folded & Hung. Anne is promoting the brand’s new perfumery line while Sam takes care of the men’s apparel.
With Anne’s big-time celebrity status as actress-host, F&H finds her the right pick to represent its new line of scents called “A Series.”
“A Series” has four scents: Innocence, Muse, Ingeneu and Stargaze. Anne said “at last I can share part of myself with all those who have been so helpful to me in different ways.’’
Anne is currently shooting “In Your Eyes,” her first movie with Claudine Barretto and former boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.
