Manila Police District (MPD) Tuesday renewed their warning to the public against meeting people using their mobile phones as another 16-year-old boy was allegedly victimized by his textmate who reportedly gave him an oral sex three times during their “eyeball” in Tondo, Manila.

Jasper (real name withheld), who was accompanied by his mother, personally went to the Manila Police District-Women and Children Concern Division (MPD-WCCD) at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday to lodge a complaint against his textmate Eduardo Pillas, 35, of 439 Concha Street, Tondo, Manila.

“He took off my clothes and underwear and he gave me an oral sex” the 16-year-old high school student told investigators when he filed a rape complaint against his textmate.

In his sworn statement, Jasper recounted that he met Pillas through his mobile phone several days ago as they both agreed in an “eyeball” (first encounter between textmates or chatmates) at the suspect’s residence last May 27. While he was in the house of the suspect, Jasper noticed that Pillas locked up the whole house.

After eating dinner, Pillas invited him to go to the bedroom where the suspect reportedly started harassing him by touching his private parts. Jasper alleged that he was given oral sex by the suspect at least three times while inside the room.

His ordeal was only prevented last May 30 at 3 a.m. when the victim was able to slip out of the house. Pillas tried to prevent the victim from leaving but they were chanced upon by patrolling barangay watchmen in the area, resulting in the suspect’s arrest.

At the police station, the suspect admitted that he invited the victim at his house but he vehemently denied that he forced him in an oral sex. He also denied locking him up inside his room.

Meanwhile, Chief Insp. Anita Araullo, chief of the MPD-WCCD, warned the public to be extra careful in having friends through their mobile phones after several people were already victimized by their textmates. Araullo said Jasper is not the only person who was reportedly raped by his textmate.
