Aga won’t let Charlene do movies

In a recent press conference (to launch her as Cenovis endorser), Charlene Gonzalez revealed that her husband Aga Muhlach won’t let her do movies. “Siya lang daw ang gagawa ng pelikula sa amin.” As to teleseryes, it’s a farfetched idea too since it will take her out of the house most of the time. Ever since they got married and had their twins, it had always been family first for the Muhlachs. “Aga and I want to concentrate our time in rearing our children. So we really choose which projects to accept.”
But Charlene can do special shows on TV, and of course can also do commercials, especially with her twins, Atasha and Andress, who are now eight years old. Come to think of it, aren’t they thinking of having more children in the near future?
“Bahala na ang Diyos, kung gusto pa kaming bigyan,” Charlene beamed.
If the former beauty queen looks fabulously sexy and slim, it’s because she takes good care of herself by eating the right food and indulging in sports and exercises to keep herself slim and strong.
With Aga still very handsome and youngish-looking, doesn’t Charlene feel insecure especially if he is paired with beautiful and younger leading ladies? “No, of course not. On the contrary, I feel flattered that he still has a strong presence and still can make girls look at him.”
Aga, by the way, is now a grandfather. Igi Boy, his son with Janice de Belen, has just given him a grandson.
Anyway, about Cenovis Fish Oil, Charlene believes it is essential to everyone’s diet since it has Omega-3, a fatty acid that you need to get from your diet because your body cannot produce it on its own. Omega-3 is an essential component of cell membranes whose role is to absorb essential nutrients and expel unnecessary waste products.

Friendship keeps La Diva in sync
Current sensation La Diva (comprised of “Pinoy Pop Superstar” winners Jonalyn Viray, Maricris Garcia, and Aicelle Santos) believes that friendship, more than anything else, has made them strong enough to perform together as a trio of wonderful voices.
Maricris said they’ve been friends already even before they became a group. Maricris, winner of “Pinoy Pop Superstar” Year 3 has been dubbed the “Divine Princess” because her voice resembles that of Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla.
La Diva was formed in 2008 by GMA Artist Center, and it became an instant hit with their rendition of Guy Sebastian’s “Angels Brought Me Here,” which became the theme song to the well-followed “Queen Seon Deok” Koreanovela.
With a busy schedule of corporate shows and thematic gigs, La Diva are seen every Sunday noon on GMA-7’s “Party Pilipinas.” They’re also now preparing for another big concert (set in SM North EDSA’s Skydome) in July and a US Concert Tour in August.
