The Clark Education City is launching its Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Professional Development Conference today (June 19) at the former at the Clark Expo inside Clark Freeport Zone.

Adam Roberts, Director of External Relations of Clark Education City, said more than 200 professionals here and abroad have already signed up for the conference which is expected to start from 9am to 5pm.

Roberts said the conference, led by international lecturers from various parts of the world, would expound on the importance of the English language in their chosen career and latest developments and opportunities in the English teaching industry.

Registration would only cost the participants of P250 which includes lunch, said Roberts adding that seats are available for those who are interested to join conference.

The event, according to Roberts, is for TESOL teachers or anyone who is interested in gaining a TESOL qualification.

The conference is a preview of the TESOL program of Clark Education City which is expected to run for six weeks. Clark Education City is run by Australian International Training and Management Group (AITMG).

Earlier, officials of the Australian International Training and Management Group (AITMG), Careers Australia Group (CAG), and Systems Plus College Foundation, Inc. (SPCF) signed an
agreement “promote mutual interest through cooperation in the fields of nursing and caregiving.”

AITMG would exclusively provide SPCF nursing graduates further training in preparation for employment opportunities in Australia.

“The program aims to support graduating nursing students from SPCF to increase their opportunities for employment abroad through further education at AITMG in the Certificate III
in Aged Care program,” Clark said.

For more details of the conference and the TESOL program, Roberts said interested parties can send their inquiries to jmalda@aitmg.com.au or call 09167076129.
