Cebu Pacific (CEB) announces a P499 ‘‘Go Lite’’ seat sale for select Luzon destinations and a P999 ‘Go Lite’ Taipei seat sale from June 22 to 24, 2010.

Passengers from Manila to Laoag, Cauayan and Tuguegarao and from Cebu to Clark can avail of the P499 ‘‘Go Lite’’ seats, for travel from July 1 to August 31, 2010. Those who wish to travel from Cebu to  Ozamiz can avail of P999 ‘‘Go Lite’’ seats for the same travel period.

Meanwhile, passengers traveling from Manila to Taipei and Ho Chi Minh from August 1 to September 30, 2010 can avail of P999 and P1,499 ‘‘Go Lite’’ seats. Those with check-in luggage just need to add P100 upon booking.

“CEB flies to the most number of destinations to Luzon, and we continue stimulating the market with our trademark low fares. A P499 ‘‘Go Lite’’ seat is comparable to bus fares, without the couple of hours spent more on travel,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution.

“Taipei and Ho Chi Minh also have a lot to offer the business and leisure traveler. We encourage guests to book their flights now,” Iyog said.

CEB flies to the most number of Luzon destinations, with flights to Laoag, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Naga, Virac, Legazpi, San Jose, Coron and Puerto Princesa. CEB also flies from Cebu, Bangkok, Macau, Hong Kong and Singapore to Clark.

“We continue to explore possible new destinations and routes, to maintain our extensive network in the Philippines. In June alone, we opened two new routes in Mindanao, namely Manila-Pagadian and Manila-Surigao,” she said.

CEB overtook Philippine Airline’s passenger numbers in the first quarter of 2010, making it the largest airline in the Philippines. It operates the youngest aircraft fleet in the country and earned a 91.8% on-time performance in the same period.
