Catriona Gray sends cyber hugs amid 'heartache, uncertainty and loss' in PH

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has sent out her biggest virtual hugs to her Filipino fans who are standing in difficult times.

On Instagram April 11, Catriona wrote: "The last few weeks have been really challenging, it pains me to see so much heartache, despair, anger, uncertainty and loss rippling throughout our nation."

"Sending you all the biggest, cyber hugs," Catriona added.

The former beauty queen admitted that social media has become a source of anxiety for her in the past days.

"Despite that, I want this platform and this community to help uplift - in whatever small way that may be," she said.

"The last few weeks have been really challenging, it pains me to see so much heartache, despair, anger, uncertainty and loss rippling throughout our nation.

"As an empath, social media has been a source of a lot of anxiety for me, but despite that, I want this platform and this community to help uplift - in whatever small way that may be.

"Maybe we could share in the comments below, how is everyone coping? What is your source of joy these days?

"Sending you all the biggest, cyber hugs. Happy Sunday friends."

Later, the Australian-Filipino beauty queen brightened up the day when she interacted with netizens in the comment section of Instagram.
