Police corporal arrested after conviction in a criminal case

Operatives of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group of the Philippine National Police (PNP-IMEG) arrested a police corporal assigned at the Manila Police District (MPD) following his conviction on a criminal case.

Nabbed was 40-year old Police Corporal Mark Manuel Co, who was collared at the Police Community Precinct 1 in Tondo, Manila. 

IMEG director Brig. Gen. Warren de Leon said Co is a subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 29, for a case of for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical Injuries in Manila.

Co was ordered to serve his sentence for around five years. 

De Leon said Co was immediately taken to the IMEG Headquarters Custodial Facility for documentation before he was turned over to the court which issued the arrest warrant.
