Shaina Magdayao

A few months after a “ceasefire” of sorts between the two was brokered by their home studio, ABS-CBN—and only a week since John Lloyd Cruz confirmed his relationship with Shaina Magdayao —many insinuate that the “word war” between the latter and Ruffa Gutierrez is on again.

The speculation  is based on reports that Magdayao supposedly sent nasty Twitter messages at “LLOydFa,” purportedly a Twitter account put up by fans of John Lloyd Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez.

On June 28, a person believed to be Magdayao sent this direct message:

“Ang hina niyo pala e! Oo kami na ni John Lloyd ano Pakielam niyo! Damn B*****s!”

It was quickly followed by another missive:

“Poor fans…still hoping magiging sila pa? J In your dreams na lang!”

Some of the fans believe the messages are authentic; sent by Magdayao to specifically hurt them if not Gutierrez herself.

In an interview, Magadayao downplayed the issue, denying having posted the malicious messages. She said that she deleted her account on June 26, two days before the messages were sent.

Guiterrez, who admitted to having received queries on the matter, remain unperturbed.    

"No comment. I'm super clueless. I was at Republiq (last June 30, 2010) celebrating my birthday. And Vina (Morales, Shaina's sister) was one of my special guests... ☺" said she via darlasauler.com.

It was only last week that Cruz admitted his relationship with Magdayao. He also revealed having had a “special relationship” with Gutierrez.

A few days later, Gutierrez not only acknowledged Cruz’ disclosure but she revealed that his relationship with Magdayao “overlapped” theirs.

“I know my agreement with JL (how Ruffa calls Lloydy). I don’t know what his agreement is with other people. But this year medyo… yes [nag-overlap], pero… hindi ko alam [kung ilang buwan],” the former beauty queen confessed during her birthday special on “Paparazzi,” June 27.

Early this year, ABS-CBN scheduled a closed-door meeting between Magdayao and Gutierrez after the two were reported to have been sending vicious text messages to each other in relation to their rumored dalliance with the actor.

Guiterrez confirmed the meeting via "Showbiz News Ngayon" on March 3.

“It happened in ABS-CBN at Star Magic office. It was a very calm talk. Marami kaming bagay na napag-usapan. Maraming naliwanagan. Siguro, in details, hindi na ako magsasalita about what really went on in the room kasi siyempre, private na ‘yon. Ang importante, wala nang problema,” she said.
