Patrick Uy, one of the country’s renowned photographers, recently showcased one of his travelogue shoots through an exhibit at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Armed with the latest version of Panasonic’s Lumix camera, Patrick demonstrated its efficiency as a point-and-shoot with DSLR qualities in capturing images under good lighting conditions. The exhibit featured how Patrick loves his Lumix camera, its handiness, and how it helped him take impressive pictures that can rival those taken by a DSLR.

Manila-born Patrick was first introduced to photography at the Ateneo de Manila University through the college paper Guidon. After graduation, Patrick quickly plunged into the world of photography, making a name as a photographer for the who’s who in Philippine products, media, celebrities, politics, advertising, weddings, and many famous places. He was even given the assignment of a lifetime by dabbling in photographing international royalty during the coronation celebrations of the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan.
