With beautifully crafted ruched detailing and donut chain, the Squeeze is a quirky and unusual new statement bag, named for its distinctive squishy handle. Crafted in a supple, buttery leather, the Squeeze was introduced in the fall/winter 2023 runway collection.

 

The Squeeze’s extraordinarily soft nappa lambskin allows for a beautifully crafted ruched detailing on the opening of the bag while the eccentric artistry of Loewe is evident in its distinctive shape and clever donut chain. The chain strap’s innovative adjustable system can be hidden inside the bag’s ruched collar or slide out to be worn over the shoulder and cross-body. Made from a gold-plated, stainless steel, and aluminium alloy, especially developed for lightness, the chain also features jewelry-inspired carabiner-style clips, which adjust to any link, allowing the wearer to customize its length. 

 

With a sensual tactility, the Squeeze’s nappa lambskin leather was specifically developed to be used unlined, contributing to its lightness. The bag’s construction showcases the atelier’s craftsmanship and attention to detail, from the inside zipped pocket to the leather piping that lends structure to the base. 

 

The Squeeze is available in small and medium sizes, in shades of chalk, chocolate, oak, and olive, as well as a classic black and a seaside blue. A limited-edition range in black python and crocodile skin is available at select stores.
