With some local governments even registering more than double of their targets for the administration of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines, it would probably not be too long before the whole of Metro Manila, which consists of 16 cities and one municipality, reaches herd immunity.

 This, as the Social Weather Station (SWS) reported that more and more Filipinos are now willing to have themselves inoculated against the deadly virus.

Also, Manila Bulletin has culled a summary of the guidelines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on what should be expected under an Alert Level 2.

Limited face-to-face classes in all college degree programs have also been given the go-signal by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

There is also a report that the number of Filipino nurses seeking jobs in the US has increased by 25 percent amid the pandemic.
