Why Angel Locsin is FHM’s sexiest woman

It’s interesting how Angel Locsin described her being No. 1, for the second time, in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World. She likened it to a boyfriend whom she has a disagreement with or a fight. And after awhile they return to each other’s arms!
Was this a metaphor describing her reconciliation with former boyfriend actor and TV host Luis Manzano?
Apparently not. No one knows why she described her return to the FHM throne as such but according to her she is single.
“Luis and I are good friends. We never talked about our relationship because we’re both focused on our careers. I guess we have to mature first before we consider another relationship,” she explained at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World Victory Party at the World Trade Center last July 15.
She revealed that she has suitors but she is neither in a “meeting stage,” “getting to know better stage” or even a “texting stage.” She is enjoying a single life because she has more time for herself, her friends and her family.
And at the moment she is happy being single!
“It’s a choice for me. I’m 25 years old already and I won’t get into any relationship if I’m not ready. I also don’t want to waste my time anymore so I don’t flirt and I don’t date for the sake of dating.”
Among the crowd favorites in the party were Eula Valdez and Jean Garcia, Saicy Aguila, Kristel Moreno, the “Wowowee” dancers, Paloma, Carlene Aguilar, Daiana Menezes, Janna Dominguez, FHM July cover girl Sam Pinto, Bangs Garcia, Katrina Halili, Jackie Rice.
The FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2010 Victory Party was co-presented by Premiere Condoms and RRJ, in cooperation with San Mig Light, Master, Citizen Eco-Drive Watches, GBX and media partners Manila Bulletin, Solar TV, Jack TV, Magic 89.9, 99.5 RT, U92, NU107, Jam 88.3 and Wave 89.1.

Marvin Ong revives ‘Panaginip’ in his CD
It’s ironic that 20-year-old new recording artist Marvin Ong is banking on “Panaginip,” one of Hotdog’s classic hit songs, as the carrier single in his self-titled debut album. He goes against the norm of artists his age that would rather record fast R&B songs, rap or hip-hop music or even pop/rock to jumpstart their recording careers.
“Panaginip” was a well-known song decades ago.
Also in his album (under Viva Records) is another remake entitled “Harana.” Other songs are his versions of American classic hit songs like “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” “Have I Told You Lately,” “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” “Maybe,” “I Need To Be In Love,” “Worst That Could Happen,” “Let’s Hang On” and “If.” Two original songs in the album are “Captivated” written by Marvin himself and “It Doesn’t Get Easier” by Hong Kong Disneyland’s Musical Director Ronnie Fortich.
A new graduate of Communication Arts from Ateneo de Manila, Marvin once joined GMA-7’s “Are You The Next Big Star?” He ended up one of the Top 40.
