Ugly cracks are starting to show in the alliance between President Duterte and boxing icon Senator Manny Pacquiao with still 11 months ahead of the May 2022 elections.
This overshadowed an announcement by the national government that Metro Manila, Rizal, and Bulacan will remain under general community quarantine “with restrictions”, as well as new travel orders approving shorter quarantine for travelers already fully vaccinated abroad, and an extension on travel restriction for those coming from seven countries.
