Pagunsan 4 shots down
Juvic Pagunsan stayed four shots behind Siddikur if Bangladesh after matching par in the third round of the Brunei Open at the Empire Hotel and Country Club in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Pagunsan has a three-round aggregate of 205 to share 10th place with Thailand’s Pariya Junhasavasdikul (65) and Atthaphon Prathummanee (64), Australia’s Darren Beck (68) and India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar (68).
Pagunsan had one birdie against one bogey.
Siddikur shot a 70 after mixing three birdies and two bogeys.
The other Filipinos are nowhere near contention.
Mars Pucayscored a 70 for a 211 total in tie with Antonio Lascuna and five others for 40th to 47th places.
Pucay, who had earlier rounds of 70 and 71, had three birdies in the first 15 holes before bogeying Nos. 16 and 18.
Lascuna, who tallied a 69, struggled at the front nine with a 36, but recovered with three birdies in the final nine holes.
Artemio Murakami shot a 72 for a 213 total at 52nd to 59th seat. Gerald Rosales and Gene Bondoc stumbled with a 75 and 72, respectively, to share similar 214 aggregates at 60th to 69th.
