The Aquino government is eyeing the full commercial operations of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 this coming December.

President Aquino Sunday announced the imminent operations of the modern terminal after he welcomed the victory of the Philippine government in its arbitration case against a consortium that built NAIA 3.

“It's with a very intense delight that I was informed the other day that we had won by the dismissal of the complaint in arbitration with Singapore,” the President said in a press conference after attending the commemorative rites of the 1st death anniversary of former President Corazon Aquino in La Salle school in Greenhills.

“As you know the devil is in the details, I'm waiting for briefing on the details to move it forward so that NAIA 3 can be used to its maximum capacity in time and we're targeting at the very least for the Christmas holidays,” he added.
