Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj is all set to take part in the 2010 Miss Universe auction night in which she will present the prized boxing gloves signed by boxing champ turned Sarangani Congressman Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

Organizers said that the boxing gloves will come with a photo of Pacquiao signing the item, as previewed in the Miss Universe Organization’s website. During the event, more than 80 contestants will personally auction off prized items representing their countries.

Dubbed National Auction Gift, the event will benefit the Nevada Cancer Institute. It will be held at the Palm Foyer in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Nevada on Saturday, August 14, starting at 5 p.m.
