Globe, TM beef up loyalty rewards

Globe Telecom expands its MyRewards MyGlobe and TM ASTIGREWARDS loyalty programs amid strong subscriber interest and redemptions. Globe has partnered with over 70 stores, restaurants, food outlets, hotels, gaming centers, boutiques and health, beauty and lifestyle establishments for discounts and other perks exclusively for Globe, Tattoo and TM subscribers.

“We continue to expand our network of stores, restaurants, and hotels that will welcome our Globe, Tattoo and TM customers with the best deals available as part of our commitment to delight our subscribers with superior customer experience,” said Jay Beltran, Head of Loyalty and CRM at Globe  Telecom.

As of end-June 2010, over 9-million Globe Prepaid, Tattoo and TM subscribers have been actively using their points to redeem items from the reward programs. The number of redeemers is growing, with more subscribers opting for gadgets such as portable DVD players, LCD television sets and new phone  devices, or telco service top-ups like Unli text and Astig tawag offers.

Globe launched the industry's biggest loyalty programs, MyRewards MyGlobe and TM ASTIGREWARDS last April. Both loyalty programs allow postpaid and prepaid subscribers to earn points based on how much they load or spend and how long they keep their Globe and TM SIMs active. These points can be used to redeem items, or get discounts and freebies from partner establishments by simply showing the SMS coupons sent to their Globe phones.
