Sen. Edgardo Angara Sunday urged his colleagues to exercise fairness in its investigation into the salaries of Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCC) employees.

Angara said the Senate, in its scheduled investigation on Monday, should be balanced and look into the matter objectively as he expressed support on the move of Senate Committee on Finance and  Government Corporations and Enterprises to inquire into the alleged “excesses” and “fat allowances” of executives of GOCCs as well as government financial institutions (GFIs).

“We should be fair and not favor nor tolerate extravagance in our government,” Angara said.
