Vendors band together in bringing the best eats and crafts to Ortigas. This October, DTC Promos Inc. is set to launch the Ortigas Market, a sustainable and open-air space situated on the busy Emerald Avenue where local businesses and people from all walks of life can connect, have fun, and make the most out of their Saturdays.

“We salute our vendor partners (VPs) who have signed up to support the Ortigas Market, which will open on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Emerald Avenue, Pasig,” says Ed Dames, chairman and CEO of DTC Promos Inc., the company spearheading the project in partnership with Pasig City, Ortigas Center, and Barangay San Antonio.
“Visitors to the market can savor favorite Pinoy food like bibingka, puto bumbong, Ilocos empanada, and other street food,” he adds.
Guests can also enjoy international cuisine ranging from paella, lengua, takoyaki, sashimi, Turkish meatballs, Vietnamese Bánh mì, Korean Tteokbokki, TexMex-inspired vegetarian tacos, fresh sashimi, Japanese delights, African food, and more.
“We invite everyone to come and try them out with family and friends,” says Marissa Ngan Dames, DTC president and market organizer. “It is an absolute delight for us to meet our artists and we can’t wait to showcase the various artisan crafts and ware like sea glass jewelry, acacia clocks, antique maps, wooden ware, ceramics, exquisite bags from recycled tire interiors, and other Philippine made handicrafts. Mayani, the Philippines' fastest-growing farm-to-table platform that supports more than 100,000 farmers and fisherfolk in Luzon, will provide the freshest produce in the market.”
This community-building project is brought to you by media partners, Manila Bulletin, DWIZ, Home Radio, Business Mirror, Pilipino Mirror, Cook Magazine, Health & Fitness and Graphic Magazine, and Mayani.
