Eugene Domingo is making headlines these days and all because she topbills Regal Films’ “Mamarazzi,” the film company’s 50th anniversary offering. She has expressed great pride to have been chosen by Mother Lily Monteverde and daughter Roselle Monteverde-Teo to star in “Mamarazzi.”

“I am honored that Regal chose me to do ‘Mamarazzi,’” Eugene said. “This movie came at the right time when in my heart, I wanted to do something for Regal, especially on its 50th anniversary. Even before I did ‘Kimmy Dora,’ Mother Lily already offered me a project for Regal. But I believe there is really a right time for everything.”

Even if she is the lead star of “Mamarazzi,” Eugene acknowledges the strong support of her director, multi-awarded Joel Lamangan, and co-stars in the comedy, especially John Lapus and Diether Ocampo. Also in the cast are Carla Abellana and Andi Eigenmann.

She is very thankful to her fellow comedian John Lapus “for helping me and supporting me.” About Diether, her leading man in the movie, Eugene said he can be “very yummy and funny as well.”

Moreover, Eugene recognized her director’s approval and production support which are both essential to any big screen project. “Mamarazzi” is directed by Joel Lamangan from a script by prolific Ricky Lee with Chris Violago.
