Janine still a proud Kapamilya, renews ties with ABS-CBN

Grateful for the success of 'Dirty Linen'

Award-winning actress Janine Gutierrez has renewed her contract with ABS-CBN by signing an exclusive deal at an event called "Solid Kapamilya: The Janine Gutierrez Network Contract Signing." 

“Sobrang surreal na pumirma na ako ng pangalawang kontrata ko with ABS-CBN kasi dati it was just something that I was looking forward to and now ramdam na ramdam ko talaga na Kapamilya ako kaya sobrang grateful po talaga ako,” said Janine.

 Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN group CFO Rick Tan, ABS-CBN head of TV production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and talent manager Leo Dominguez.

 “Grateful ako dahil gustong gusto ko talaga yung role ko sa ‘Dirty Linen’ na medyo may pagka-bida-kontrabida in a way. Gusto ko yung gano’n role na matapang, yung hindi lang susuko kasi syempre kailangan natin ng gano’n inspirasyon,” Janine shared.

 Janine admitted feeling nervous but optimistic about upcoming projects with Kapamilya network after the success of "Dirty Linen."

“Meron talagang certain pressure yung ‘Dirty Linen’ kasi naramdaman ko talaga na malaking project siya tapos bigatin lahat no’ng mga eksena ko. Luckily, grabe yung guidance ng mga direktor and it was such a fun set so iyon na lang yung iniisip kaysa yung pressure. I’m assured na sa caliber ng mga kwento natin sa ABS-CBN, I look forward to any role na i-offer nila sa akin,” Janine shared.

 Aside from her role in "Dirty Linen," she also starred in the rom-com "Marry Me, Marry You" with Paulo Avelino and the iWantTFC series "Sleep With Me" with Lovi Poe. "Sleep With Me" is now streaming on Netflix.
