It also handed Ginebra its fourth loss in five games after a 2-0 start. Coach Tim Cone hopes the result would be a springboard for Ginebra to regain its winning ways, especially with Joe Devance expected to return this month from foot surgery. “We played a complete game and we’re able to pull away,” said Cone. “It was really a struggle for us but it might be the game that helps us turn around.” Rashawn McCarthy finished with 15 points but Kia dropped to a league-worst 1-7 record.
