Talk about climate change and global warming, look at your face first. As the world suffers from harmful chemicals, your face might be suffering as well.
Looking beautiful is top priority, especially for women. That’s why most cosmetics companies invest millions in their products. But like all things, looking beautiful has a price. Some ingredients used to create beauty products may be harmful to the user.
Some cosmetic products might include:
- Formalin, a preserving chemical commonly used on corpses. Studies have found a link between this chemical and illnesses such as asthma and cancer. It can also cause skin allergies.
- Mineral oil is a crude oil product that clogs pores and prevents the skin to breathe. This will eventually lead to unhealthy skin.
- Alpha-Hydroxy Acids or commonly known as AHA. It cleanses the skin. But as the name states, it is an acid that damages the skin, leaving it prone to harmful elements.
So, before you buy beauty products or put anything on your face, read labels carefully.
