Gran Turismo 5 is due to come out by November 3 and this early some details have been coming out which should provide expectant gamers an idea of what to see from the long overdue installment of the Gran Turismo series.

If you haven’t heard yet, Gran Turismo 5 will come with a track editor and a 3D and PlayStation Move Support. The latest word is that it will now even come with a hard drive install option.

There will be actually two hard drive installations. The first is the 256MB install that will be required to play the game and the second is for a 10GB install which according to Kaz Yamauchi’s Twitter feed, shall provide a “smoother play experience”.

While there was no word on why such an additional hard drive provision would be necessary, it seems that this new perk will make the game experience smoother.

This pertains to in-game transitions which include changing of car color, model and tracks to name a few.
