Tree Planting at West Greenhills Park

As part of its annual celebration, Barangay Greenhills lined up an array of activities ranging from medical missions and eco-friendly initiatives which took place from August 16 to 22, 2010. One of the key programs for the week-long celebration included tree planting at parks of nearby Greenhills villages.

The tree planting activity was led by Barangay Greenhills Chairman Lorenzo Tañada Yam and Kagawad Luis Avecilla, who along with the Barangay Greenhills council members have been performing this eco-friendly practice since last year.

The activity aims promote eco-friendly practices for the Greenhills community, a move that hopes to encourage more eco-friendly efforts from local communities.
